He was very knowledgeable, professional, friendly and accommodating. I won't soon forget his bright smile and his strong encouragement to try all things Moroccan (i.e., the food in the square, ride a camel in the desert and get a hammam)! Our guide in Rabat was also very good - we were only able to spend a few hours with him given our schedule; it was Eid, very busy and we learned a lot. All this to say (again) what a great trip Luiza at Sahara Trek helped us plan. The trip was unforgettable, made especially so by the people involved: Luiza, our amazing driver Fouad, and our three guides (including Mohammed in Fes)! Thanks to all!

The diversity among our hotels was intriguing, ranging from the lux Inara Camp in the Agafay Desert to the opulent Fairmont Hotel in Rabat to the vintage and beautiful riad, La Maison Bleue in Fes. That being said, it was the warm hospitality of the people at various locations that warmed our hearts and spirits each day! Our hearts, minds and spirits are once again renewed and inspired! Once there our driver (and interpreter) Fouad provided much useful information and made suggestions for things to see that we had not thought of; he looked for things that we asked for. Local guides were arranged for us, including Mohammed in Fez and Aziz in Marrakech. So I definitely come back to Morocco some day and strongly recommend "Sahara Trek" to my friends who are planning to Viste to Morocco.

  What a trip of a lifetime! - What an experience. I don’t know if I’ll adequately have the words in this review to express how well taken care of I feel after this tour with SAHARATREK and... read more especially with Abdel our driver.

Luiza booked our trip for us, she took care of everything. She made a custom itinerary, and the fee wasn’t astronomical, she kept us updated until the date of arrival and we didn’t have to worry about a thing. She was in contact with us the entire trip and took care of any concerns we had. We went from
Marrakech, to Rabat, to Fez, to Chefchaoun. Our hotels were outstanding. Of course there were some give and take but overall SPECTACULAR. RIAD El Yacout and Club Val D’anfa being my favorite! Thank you so much Luiza!

Abdel was our driver. He was a PERFECT gentleman. I could cry writing this review. Two ladies traveling alone and we didn’t feel endangered once because we felt protected with Abdel. He drove safely, he gave us Moroccan history as we drove from city to city, he helped us with our bags everywhere, he really took great care of us. I have no complaints and I will be referring all my friends to him and Luiza. Can you imagine being in a foreign country and being made to feel like you’re one of their own? We traveled for 6 days and the entire trip was special. The best trip I’ve taken thus far. Thank you thank you thank you Abdel! You are family forever!

  Don't get much time away from work, so had to make every day count. Took SaharaTrek's 7 day Ancient Empires. They had another tour that included a camel ride, but... read more we did that already in Egypt and that was plenty. Other companies offered similar tours, but they have time-fillers like tea in a tent, etc, and I don't have time for that. In 7 days, we saw everything in Morocco we wanted to. The imperial cities, roman ruins, and the blue city. Loved the mix of guided tours and self-exploration. Liked that they only included breakfast and dinner because we love to go out and find our own food options. A real highlight was the Ghost Tour of Fez. No one else did that and it really made the tour for us.

This was fast-moving, hit the highlights, just the right amount of time, and never got boring kinda tour. Hands-on, always moving, always seeing. Loved the mix of guided and self-guided time and how we could be flexible enough with the schedule so we were moving faster with things that interested us less, and spending more time on things we were more interested in.
